Level 3 Diploma in Business Management
Course Overview
This course provides a broad foundation in business and supports progression into employment, further learning or higher education. Learners develop introductory knowledge across business management, the use of resources, marketing, people management, business communication and health and safety, helping them understand how key business functions operate together.
Entry Criteria
- Applicants must be aged 16 or over.
- A full Level 2 qualification, such as a Level 2 vocational qualification or 5 GCSEs at Grade A*-C / Grade 5-9, or equivalent; OR at least 1 year of work experience in a business environment.
- English and maths should normally be at GCSE Grade A*-C / Grade 4 or above, or equivalent.
- If English is not the applicant’s first language, a minimum B2 (CEFR) level or equivalent is required.

Delivery & Grading
- Learning may be classroom-based, online or blended.

Successful completion can support progression to Level 4 or higher study in business administration, enterprise, business management, leadership and management, human resources, business finance and related areas, as well as degree-level study where entry requirements are met.
