Level 3 International Foundation Diploma in Business and Finance
Course Overview
This course is designed as an entry route to further and higher education in the UK or internationally. Learners develop academic and research skills, business communication, mathematics and statistics, and an understanding of the business environment, while this pathway adds specialist study in finance in business and principles of accounting and economics. Successful completion can support progression to further study or employment.
Entry Criteria
- Applicants must be aged 16 or over.
- There are no formal academic entry requirements.
- Applicants must have a proficient level of spoken and written English.
- If English is not the applicant’s first language, a formal English language qualification of at least Level 1, such as ESOL International at CEFR B2 or above, or equivalent, is required.
- Learners planning to progress to further or higher education should also check the specific entry requirements of their intended institution and programme.

Assessment Methods

Delivery & Grading

Successful completion can support progression to further education, higher education and degree-level study, subject to the entry requirements of the receiving institution and programme. It can also support progression into employment.
